Term 2 School Route Changes

From Monday 17th April 2023, there will be changes to the following school routes:

4111, 4161, 4215, 4245, 4251, 4254, 4255, 4261, 4404, 4426, 4460, 4467, 4468, 4471, 4477, 4490

The following changes have been made to these routes:

  • 4404 - RENUMBERED to 4152 Route to start 2 minutes earlier at 7:35am & terminate at Marsden High at 8:00am. Chambers Flat Rd & Bumstead Rd sections placed onto Route 4151. Julie St, Augusta St & Waratah Dr sections placed onto new route 4142.

  • 4426 - RENUMBERED to 4142 Route to start 5 minutes earlier at 7:30am. Route removed from Anthony St, Hart St, Wagensveldt St, Ashton St, Jacaranda Ave, Attunga St, Marsden Primary, Browns Plains Rd & Trulson Dr due to no student boardings or alightings. Third Ave, Macarthy Rd, Coolmunda St, Homestead St & Blue Gum Dr sections placed onto route 4429.

  • 4111 - Route altered from service road to Barbarella Drive & Wenlock Crescent to pickup overflow of students from 4112.

  • 4161 - Splitting into two routes. The new 4161 will travel express via Loganlea Rd from Waterford West Primary to Loganlea High. It will not stop at Short St, Haig Rd, Station Rd, or Loganlea Station. Any students who want to board from those places must catch the new bus 4163.

  • 4163 - NEW ROUTE Starting at Waterford West Primary at 8:10am will travel all stops to Loganlea High via Allora St, Short St, Haig Rd, Station Rd & Loganlea Station.

  • 4215 – Route will now bypass Eight Mile Plains Station; first stop will be Miles Platting Rd & Gardner Rd. Students for Eight Mile Plains Station will now catch the 4211, 4214, 4216 leaving at 3:15pm

  • 4245 - Route to start 5 minutes later at 2:55pm

  • 4251 - Route to start 5 minutes earlier at 2:45pm - Route removed from Logan Reserve Rd, Beutel St, Keyes St, Kingston Station, Chambers Flat Rd & part of Waratah Dr due to no student boardings or alightings. Route to continue along Coolmunda St, Homestead St, Pauline St & terminate at Marsden Park Shops.

  • 4254 - Stopping pattern change- will now travel express to Julie St with first stop at Julie near Brabham St.

  • 4257 - NEW ROUTE Starting at Marsden High at 2:40pm Will travel via the same alignment & stops as route 4255 to Fifth Ave, Marsden.

  • 4258 - NEW ROUTE Starting at Marsden High at 2:40pm will travel express to Augusta St with first stop being Augusta St at Pinnington Park and terminate at St Francis College stop.

  • 4261 - Splitting into two routes. The new 4261 will travel express via Loganlea Rd from Loganlea High to Waterford West Primary. It will not stop at Loganlea Station, Station Rd, Haig Rd, Short St & Allora St. Any students who want to board from those places must catch the new bus 4263.

  • 4263 - NEW ROUTE Starting at Loganlea High at 2:45pm will travel all stops to Waterford West Primary via Loganlea Station, Station Rd, Haig Rd, Short St & Allora St.

  • 4460 - RENUMBERED to 4221 Route extended to Monash Rd at Rellam Rd travelling via Station Rd & Haig Rd.

  • 4467 - RENUMBERED to 4285 Route modified to cover Windaroo Primary & Mt Warren Primary via Mt Warren Blvd. After turning right onto Beaudesert Beenleigh Rd, it will run express to Fryar Rd near Albert St stop. From Fryar Rd onwards route will remain the same. 

  •  4468 - RENUMBERED to 4274 -Route modified to assist with overloading on urban route 562 inbound at 15:15 from Beenleigh with Trinity College & Beenleigh High Students. Route removed from Chapman Dr, Spanns Rd, Hammel St, Mt Warren Blvd, Beaudesert Beenleigh Rd, Harburg Dr and students placed on routes 4455, 4471 (new route 4273) & 4490 (new route 4281)

  • 4471 - RENUMBERED to 4273 Route to now start at Beenleigh Primary then via Beenleigh High (Pickup opposite school in Alamein St) & pickup at Trinity College in Yalburu St (Instead of Kokoda Street). Route removed from Kokoda St, York St, Manilla St, Bougainville St, Zander St, James St, Milne St. The modified route, once leaving Logan River Rd, will follow part of the route 563 & 565 alignments to Carl Heck Blvd. The Rivermount to Beenleigh section will remain the same and the last section & will follow part of the route 563 & 565 alignments.

  • 4477 - RENUMBERED to 4242 Route to start 10 minutes earlier at 3:05pm from St Francis College. Route removed from part of Chambers Flat Rd, Browns Plains Rd, Second Ave, Macarthy Rd, Third Ave, Attunga St, Jacaranda Ave, Woodridge Station due to no student boardings or alightings & upcoming closure of Croydon Rd. Students travelling to Browns Plains Rd & Homestead St will be able to travel on modified route 4251.

  • 4486 - RENUMBERED to 4272 Route modified to cover overloading at Beenleigh High on routes 4270 & 4271. Route removed from Windaroo Valley High, Windaroo Primary, Mt Warren Primary with students placed onto route 4467 (To be renumbered to 4285) The 4272 will now start at Beenleigh High and service all stops on the same alignment as the 4270. Route removed from Trinity College due to very low numbers and capacity on route 4271 leaving at 15:05.

  • 4490 - RENUMBERED to 4281. Route modified to cover the removed section of route 4468 from Mt Warren Blvd. Route removed from Chapman Drive to speed up travel time to Trinity College with students in Chapman Dr are to use route 4455 instead.
