Our response to COVID-19

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is moving quickly and as a business, we are responding quickly. Above all else, the health and well-being of our staff and passengers are always our primary focus.

As our valued customers, we wanted to update you on what we as a business are doing to manage the risk of this outbreak.

It is important to know that all measures we have introduced are in accordance with official health and transport advice. These include:

  • enhanced bus cleaning processes, with increased frequency

  • hand sanitiser placed on each bus

  • promoting standard personal hygiene practices

  • regular briefings of management teams

  • our depot is closed to the public (school pass applicants can make an appointment to collect their passes if required)

  • only essential team members are working from the depot

  • all non-essential meetings have been temporarily suspended

In line with the recommendations of Australian and Queensland Health, we are also encouraging passengers to:

  • stay at home and avoid travel if you are unwell

  • clean hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rubs

  • cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or flexed elbow when coughing or sneezing

  • maintain social distance (1 metre) and avoid touching each other

  • avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes

  • for more information go to www.health.gov.au

As we continue to monitor developments regarding COVID-19, we will continue to update you on our response and actions.

Please monitor www.translink.com.au for the latest travel information.

With only essential team members currently on-site at Clarks, there may be a delay in responding to customer enquiries (we encourage you to use our contact form here).
