Bus company takes charge

Clarks Logan City Bus Service was mentioned by My City Logan, regarding our important role in the journey of Zero-emission buses in Logan, Queensland. This article was based on the visit we receive from Ministers Mick De Brenni and Meaghan Scanlon. We showed them our preparations for our Zero-Emission Buses. We have completed all the electric work preparation with Tritium chargers installed and ready to charge. The visit resulted in some dynamic conversation and knowledge sharing around renewable energy sources, and the variety of benefits these vehicles will bring to Logan residents. In addition, we could charge a car showcasing how fast and clean the process are.

Check below some parts of the interview for My City Logan and the complete interview is available here.

A LOGAN bus company is set to lead the charge in a race to zero emissions, installing 10 electric bowsers to fuel a new fleet of eco-friendly buses.

Clarks Logan City Bus Service will put the buses in action, servicing from the Brisbane CBD to Windaroo, and Browns Plains to Cornubia.

The Logan-owned company has deployed the single largest number of universal electric vehicle chargers. Ten are plugged in and ready to go after a deal with Queensland company Tritium.

Clarks Logan City Bus Service manager of finance and performance Kaylee Clark said they were keen to monitor the performance of the 10 EV buses on all routes.

“We are a family company set up to serve the needs of our community and it is exciting to be bringing new technology to the streets of Logan and seeing how it performs,” Ms. Clark said.

We are family-run with family values and we are looking forward to sharing this new technology with our Logan’s Community.
