Events
The best way to travel to events around the Logan region is by bus. Find your upcoming event below.
Kindy Express
Logan families are busy getting ready for their first taste of kindergarten, with their seats booked
on the Kindy Express this October.
If you have a child eligible to start kindy in 2022, you are invited to reserve a seat on the ‘Kindy
Express’ Bus Tour, where you can ask questions, join in activities, and see what kindy is all about.
But be quick, seats are limited.
Kindy places are filling up, and now is the time to make sure you have secured a place for next year. The bus tours will be a fun way to showcase local places and help plan your transport
for next year.
Logan Together has partnered with community agencies and local family transport business
Clarks and Translink to offer 3 jam-packed tours covering different areas of Logan.
After being welcomed aboard the Express by some wonderful Clarks’ drivers, families will depart
to their first stop on the tour, joining in songs and games, and having time to ask questions of
Logan’s Early Years Champions, before arriving at their destinations.
The Kindy Express will be departing from Kingston East Neighbourhood Group and Village
Connect in Slacks Creek and The Benevolent Society in Browns Plains from the 6-8 October.

Logan Business Awards
The business awards were originally started by the Logan Chamber of Commerce and involved the Quest News Group as sponsor. The Quest group took the idea and ran with it around the state for many years.
In 2018, the Logan Chamber of Commerce restarted the program, working with the Beenleigh-Yatala Chamber of Commerce and the Logan Country Chamber of Commerce. Together we created a gala event like no other in the city, attracting over 400 nominations for the 23 industry categories. The judges then worked to announce finalists for each of these categories with the winners being announced on the night.
In 2019, it grew even bigger with more nominations, applications, 15 categories, and 6 major award winners.
